ME

I was born in the wrong era…

I should have been born 1000 years ago or 1000 years from now.

I would have been a knight or would be a space marine. I feel there is no place for someone like me to have honor in our “modern” age.

There is nothing left on Earth to discover, I wish I could explore uncharted territory. I wish there were some land left unvisited and unexplained here on our planet to be documented and explored. Or a civilization that has remain hidden and alien to the rest of the world only to be found and explained by me. To be the first person to set foot on foreign soil, to be an ambassador of my land to an unknown culture. I wish I could be a part of an expedition to another planet, though we have yet to make the viable technological strides to even send humans to Mars. I would love to explore an uninhabited planet and be responsible for uncovering its mysteries and prepping to terraform it for colonization. Or to be the first to encounter and conduct diplomatic relations with an alien species. Alas, there is no such wonderment in this era for a pioneer’s spirit such as mine.
